We have a modern house with standard doorways and landings but due to the size and weight of the boxes the movers took 2 hours to deliver. The workstation had to be slid up the stairs on the carpet and the larger unit dismantled to get through the doorway of the home office. Until I removed the doors, sliding shelf and oak top it was two heavy to lift over the 2nd floor banister. I appreciate the time and effort of the movers, I really thought that the item would have to be returned. Nevertheless we are pleased with the item, it is very functional. However the doors were misaligned and the hinges have to be shimmed. There was minor damage to one the top left-hand door. If Cotswold can supply a spray can of the charcoal gray paint then I can fill and paint over the dent.

Whilst the actual items appears to be well made - it does not fit in the house! Paid for "experts" to put it together, unfortunately a driver on his first day and another who had never put the product together arrived. Politely refused to "dismantle" and no instructions are available to allow the customer to take apart themselves, has resulted in the item sitting in the hallway for a week whilst negotiating with the customer service team. Only option available is if the customer takes responsibility for the courier to try again - but the customer must take responsibility for any damage to the property and damage to the actual item. If the item is damaged, cannot return!! Please make sure the sales team advise you of the size of the item(s) and weight and that your are sure it will be able to negotiate your hall, stairs or doorway entrance. Real shame.

Doors were uneven and some paint defects. I would expect a lot better for the price and the twenty weeks I had to wait to receive it. It seems like there was no quality control before it left the factory. I have been contacted already for this by customer service and now waiting for the external company to get in touch for fixes. Customer services have been really good but I would expect that for the price paid.
